As-built Field Surveys

This service is a true Walkout of your HFC plant, and involves the comprehensive documentation of your coax and/or fiber plant. We document the poles, pedestals, footages, house counts, addresses, all passings (residential and commercial) and all existing electronics. Core to this service is the use of or creation of fresh new road-base maps over which the Survey is documented. GPS coordinate records of all facilities is an option as well.

Residential Surveys

Fast and affordable field surveys to determine what will be needed to connect the candidate residential customer, housing edition, or Residential MDU. Options available for more economic desktop-only Surveys using Google Earth (among others) and target address(es).

Commercial/Business Surveys

Fast and affordable (Fiber & RF) field surveys to determine what will be needed to connect the candidate Business customer, Business park, or Commercial MDU. Options available for more economic desktop-only Surveys using Google Earth (among others) and target address(es).

Is there room on the poles for the new cables your team is planning to route? Will the adds you are planning comply with the local power company codes? Rainbow Technicians will conduct field audits of poles along a defined route, and will document Pole attachments, attachment height, and attachment compliance with load requirements.

GPS'ing / GEO-Coding & Address Verification


Rainbow Design offers a multitude of services around verification of your existing and potential customers, addresses, and real-world GPS-accurate location.  Our survey services can provide you with complete reporting & Door / Mailbox / Driveway locates, address correlation and review of Single-family dwellings, Multi-tenant dwellings, Commercial entities and Apartment Complex / Business Complex inventories.  We are very experienced at providing highly detailed reporting in many formats including but not limited to:

Spreadsheets, Documents, Databases, Shape Files, CAD files (DGN, DWG etc) and many other formats. 

Sub-meter Accuracy with GPS gear is the general expectation.

Custom Surveys for Residential Only, Commercial Only, County Only or any other parameters are generally easy to accomodate.
